Most of my friends call me Deb. I was born in Oct. of 1968. I'm very much in love with my other half, Jon. I have 2 beautiful children, Joshua and Samantha, and I love being their mother. Jon has two sons, Scott and Sean and he is a wonderful father.

I have one sister, Darlene, and I have a nephew named Brandon by her. My sister and I were pregnant with Samantha and Brandon at the same time, and gave birth within just a few days of each other. That was a neat experience. When she came to the hospital to see me and Samantha, the nurses thought she was in labor and asked what Dr. sent her up to that floor alone and without a wheelchair! lol Both Samantha and Brandon have red hair, and people have always mistaken them to be siblings or twins. I'm still very close to my former sister-in-law, Beth, and I have 2 nephews by her as well, Brad and Daniel.

We lost my childrens father, Tim, on Dec. 25, 2001 at 1:54 AM, to melanoma skin cancer. You can read more about our story dealing with it in the Melanoma section of my site. He and I were married for almost 10 years. We were divorced when he found out he had cancer, but we had closure in the last year of his life. I am still very close to Tim's family. They are some of the best people you could ever know! :-) I take the kids there for holidays, to visit, and we keep up with each other often. They will always be family to me.

Even though I only have one sibling, we come from a large family on our mother's side. Last count there was well over 70 of us, just from our grandparents and their 9 children. All I know about where my family came from is that my mother's mom's family came here from Ireland, and my father's parent's family were German and Indian. Someday, I would like to do some more research to see all of what our family trail really is.

I enjoy a variety of things. Camping, fishing, some crafts. I used to crosstitch a lot, but have gotten away from it. I love to write, but I am an internet junky, and rarely find time for it now days... since I've learned how to make web pages, there is no hope for me...LOL

I don't watch as much TV now days, but when I do I like just about anything on the Sci Fi channel, CNN, History channel, American Idol, Cold Case Files, Heros, Crossing Jordan and other shows with the same idea's to them. I love a wide variety of movies. Scary/Thriller being at the top of my list, but I also enjoy action, mystery, and romance, my recent fave is 'The Notebook'. :)

I like a wide variety of music, mostly rock, pop, & 80's music. I even like some from the 50's to the 70's, and never thought I would be saying this, but even some country! :) One of my favorite groups is "Savage Garden" If you are not familar with them, don't let the name fool you, they sing love songs, and softer rock. I also like a few songs by "Kid Rock" and most of the songs "Pink" sings. I am a huge Bo Bice and Clay Aiken Fan. They're both from American Idol.

My favorite pass time is playing The Sims 2 pc game. If you play you already know why. If you don't I recommend you try it. :)
