Apple Pie
Chapter 4
Apples new boyfriend seemed to run hot and cold on her. One minute he was around and showered her with attention but
the next he was no where to be found. Apple was left confused and found herself often alone at the bar, falling back into
some old habits.
Apple even had relations with the bar tender there because he swooned over her and she craved the attention.
Apple didn’t like the direction of her life or hopping from one man to the other. She didn’t quite know how to make
friends with woman either and they didn’t seem to like her much when she tried. You can tell cool chick Tracy doesn’t care
for Apple just by that look on her face.
So Apples path slid her right back to using her charm and getting attention from men. The creature she knew how to work
and loved. Apple was becoming a local Legend for being a Casanova.
There was one woman who made her way to talk some sense into Apple. That was none other than cool chick Jacq, but Apple
didn’t much trust Jacq. Jacq was trying to get Apple to stop her life style and live right. Apple was convinced Jacq was
just jealous of her and didn’t want to hear anything she had to say. Especially about her on and off again boyfriend Ben
Davis. Jacq tried to tell Apple he was a married man with a family but she was hearing none of it and asked Jacq to leave.
The next time Ben Davis came over Apple noticed a wedding ring on his finger. She hadn’t seen it before and was shocked.
Ben was smooth though and quickly explained it away. Telling Apple it was his grandfather’s ring and how he hadn’t been
around because his grandfather passed away and yadda yadda. Apple bought it all hook line and sinker.
That Ben Davis certainly knew how to charm a woman. Apple wasn’t used to having someone charm her for a change and
ate all of the attention up. Ben started coming around more and more often.
The next thing Apple knew she was pregnant once again and stuck in a familiar spot she didn’t like. Apple was shocked
when she told Ben and he finally admitted that he really was married and already had a family of his own.
Apple fell into a heap of tears on the floor which made Ben feel bad. He picked Apple up and sat her on the couch. He
promised to leave his wife and find a house for himself and Apple to share. He told her they’d get married and the whole
nine yards. Once again Apple believed Ben.
But when their little daughter Summer was born Ben came empty handed and left that way too. He told Apple that he
just couldn’t walk away from his family, as he walked out the door on her and Summer.
Without as much as blinking Ben Davis went back home to his family that night and acted as if nothing had happened. His
wife Darla, daughters Tonya and Sonya, had no clues about Apple or Summer. Ben intended on keeping it that way.
