Apple Pie
Chapter 2
Apple came around to see the boys quite often and was there they day they grew into toddlers. Julien had a roof raising
party for the boys.
Apple also brought her new boyfriend, Ben Burnett, to the party. Julien pretended he didn’t care but he was a little
jealous deep inside. He and Apple had gotten to know each other better and he was growing fond of her.
Apple spent the rest of the day playing with her sons.
All Apple knew about being a mother was having fun with her children. She didn’t realize all the hard work Julien put
into being a parent.
It didn’t take long for Ben Burnett to move in with Apple. The new couple figured it would save money if they lived
together for awhile.
The next thing anyone knew Apple was pregnant again. She and Ben had not been getting along so Apple was once again
left confused about what to do.
Apple gave birth to their beautiful son, Berry. She hoped this would change things for the better.
But alas it made things worse and the couple quickly grew further apart. Ben had been able to save some money so Apple
agreed to let him take Berry when he moved out. Ben seemed to know more about taking care of babies anyhow. At least that
is what Apple told herself once again.
Ben was able to find a nice house on the money he’d saved combined with his aspiring job in the education career.
Ben Burnett made quite the good father with his family personality. He showered little Berry with all kinds of attention.
