Chapter 6
With the original cool chicks, Barb, Deb, Lydia, Jacq, Tracy and Sara, laid to rest sadness filled the air.
Somehow Cool Chicks Island was never going to seem the same again.
All the ladies were laid to rest in a beautiful cemetery that over looks the ocean. Their kids felt it was
only appropriate since the woman had worked so hard to buy beach houses.
It took awhile but life finally started to get back to a sort of normal on the island. Tony and Sandra loved
teaching Blake how to play games. Maxx seems to enjoy watching them as well.
Cyndi loves her parents and she even thinks they are cool, but she wants nothing to do with watching them
show affection towards each other. Eww gross, she proclaims as they give each other a romantic squeeze.
Kelsey and Chad still enjoy playing chess together and Alyssa is a good girl doing research on the internet
for her homework.
Carley has taken over playing the piano every night, like Tracy used to. Jason and Mason enjoy the tradition
carrying on.
Tomas and Sabrina have postponed taking a family vacation. They enjoy a game of chess while Paige does her
homework.
Angel seems to try and spend more time around her siblings and they often talk of how they miss Sara’s cooking.
Bob Jr, Jenna and Heidi all enjoy the new pool they bought. Trying to keep in shape seems to help keep their mind
off of the recent losses on both sides of the family.
Jacob talked Paula into straightening her hair. Paula was resistant at first but has really fallen in love with her
new hair style. All those curls were hard to manage. The two spend all of their spare time skilling or taking care of
the twins.
Over at Joe and Sonya’s, Tosha and Tammy are already talking about college. Boy do I dread getting this batch of kids
through the university!
