Cool Chicks Island

Chapter 19

A handsome new comer to Cool Chicks Island, Carl Carr, quickly gained popularity among the woman.

Even Miss Lydia was known to frequently follow him home from work with a gleam in her eyes.

One day Carl, who didn’t have a lot of mechanic skill, tried to fix his TV.

Carl got the shock of his life instead.

Carl’s only child Thomas wasn’t home to plea for his life, so the grim reaper took him away.

When poor Thomas returned home from his after school job he was absolutely devastated to learn of his father’s ill fate.

The only thing Lydia knew to do when she heard of Carl was to eat her comfort food, grilled cheese. No one would ever know how in love she had fallen with Carl.

Young Thomas moved in with his aunt and cousin, who had also moved to Cool Chicks Island in recent months.

They buried Carl in a special made cemetery on his aunt’s property so Thomas could mourn his father anytime he need to.

It wasn’t easy for Thomas to adjust to living with females in a pink house but he made do and appreciated them taking him in.

The school year was near ending so parents of graduating seniors all over town were discussing college and careers with their soon to be young adults.

Angel didn’t understand why she couldn’t head off to college with her brothers. Tony and Sara had to explain how important it is for Angel’s grades and skills to be up before she heads off to college.
